Set out below are the business terms in which Skinfix Clinic (“Skinfix”) provides a service to its clients.
Please ensure that you have read and fully understood our terms and conditions prior to booking a treatment at Skinfix Clinic.
1. Appointments
• All therapists at Skinfix are trained and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment protocols.
• Prior to your appointment, we will inform you of any preparation required for your treatment. If you do not follow the guidance this may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged. For certain treatments, we ask that you are prepared for your treatment:
o Face treatments: All make-up removed prior to treatment;
o Laser hair removal: area shaved 24 hours prior to treatment and free of hair. Hair must not be waxed or plucked prior to laser hair removal.
• Skinfix will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs on time. However, should we need to cancel your appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact you in advance. All treatments cancelled by Skinfix will be rebooked as soon as convenient for our client.
• If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Any cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment will result in our Cancellation Policy being implemented, which means you can expect to be charged.
• If you do not attend your appointment with no attempt made to let us know, this will result in a 100% charge or forfeiting your treatment.
• Late arrival to your appointment may result in a reduction in your treatment time, forfeiting your appointment or a charge.

2. Payment Protection Policy
To secure an appointment with Skinfix, either in clinic, on our website, via Fresha or over the phone, your credit or debit card details will be secured against every booking. This applies to single treatments, package treatments, consultations, reviews and test patches.
• You will need to accept the terms of Payment Protection Policy before proceeding with your appointment.
• No charge will be taken from your card up front prior to your attendance, unless we have specified your treatment package requires an upfront payment.
• If you do not attend your appointment without letting us know and there is no attempt to reschedule or cancel within the 24 hours as set out in the cancellation policy, your card will be charged to the relevant amount in relation to your booking.

3. Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure that we are able to maximise our appointment availability for all of our clients. This ensures that we are able to offer a cancelled appointment time to a client who needs it.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you call us at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Any cancellation within 24 hours will result in your treatment being redeemed, or payment protection policy being applied, and your card will be charged. The below table indicates the charges within each notice period, which applies to pre-paid treatments from a package, single treatments, consultations and other paid appointments.

4. Pricing and Payments
• Pricing: Consultation and treatment prices may vary during promotional periods. Please refer to pricing on the website or in clinic.
• Card Payments: We ask that you make payment via card or contactless payment where possible.
• 0% Finance: we are currently working towards offering 0% finance to help you spread the cost of treatment. Please speak to the Clinic Manager for more details.
• Payments: All treatments purchased as a course or package must be paid for in full, prior to the first treatment.
• Package or Course Expiry: All treatments from a course must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase unless you are advised by a therapist that your treatment plan will run for a longer period. Any treatments left unused after 12 months, or after the period specifically advised by your therapist, will be automatically forfeited and a new package will need to be purchased.
• Package Refunds: Treatment packages or courses of treatment are only refundable for medical reasons. Any refund agreed between the client and Skinfix is calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments already taken, plus any charges for non-attendance. The difference will be the refunded amount.
5. Suitability for Treatment
• We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, prior to any treatment being carried out.
• It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Skinfix with relevant medical history and medication details prior to each treatment.
• We cannot treat any clients who are under 18, pregnant or breast-feeding.
6. Liability
• Skinfix will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.
• Clients will be required to read and sign the relevant consent forms prior to treatment. We are unable to provide any treatment without your written consent.
• It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they provide Skinfix with all relevant medical history and medication details prior to each treatment. Skinfix will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
• The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Skinfix regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit Skinfix’s liability for death or any personal injury resulting from Skinfix’s negligence.
7. Vouchers
• Vouchers are valid for 12 months only from the date of issue.
• Where a voucher has expired, it will no longer be valid and not treatments will be offered by Skinfix, unless specifically agreed, in exceptional circumstances, by the Clinic Manager.
• Vouchers, where a value only is specified on the Voucher, they can be redeemed against and treatment or package that is available for full or part payment.
• Where a voucher is for a specific treatment or package, it is only valid for the specified treatment or package, unless specifically agreed by the Clinic Manager.
• No cash refund is available against any voucher. Where a voucher value is used in part against a treatment, the balance of the voucher value must be used against a subsequent treatment.
• The voucher must be surrendered upon purchase of the treatment, or handed to the therapist at your initial consultation.
• Vouchers can only be used for treatments.
• If a voucher is purchased for a specific treatment, and the client is not suitable for such treatment for medical reasons, an alternative treatment will be offered.
8. Medical Conditions
• Please inform your therapist of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.
9. Mobile Phones and Use of Social Media
• Please be respectful of other clients in the clinic when using your mobile phone for calls or social media. please keep the volume to a minimum as this could disturb clients receiving their treatments.
10. Children
• With regret due to health and safety regulations, please consider making other arrangements for your children when you come for any treatments.
• A salon is not the safest place for a child, since salon tools, very sharp objects, chemicals and laser machines are in regular use.
• Our team are unable to carry out your treatment if they also need to keep an eye on child safety.
• We as a salon want to ensure that both you and our other clients receive a relaxing and safe treatment.
• Therefore, if on arrival at salon for treatment, you have children with you, your treatment will need to be cancelled – this is for the benefit of your children and all clients.
• We thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.
11. Patch Tests
• If your treatment requires a patch test, then this must be done prior to your appointment.
12. Health Conditions
• Please notify us of any health conditions that may affect your choice of treatment including allergies, skin infections and injuries.
13. Pregnancy
• Please notify us if you are pregnant or breast feeding as it may affect your choice of treatment.
14. Valuables & Lost Property
• Skinfix does not accept any liability for any lost valuables on the premises at any time.
• Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
15. Your Right to Complain

16. Our Privacy Policy
• SkinFix complies with all obligations under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) by keeping all personal data up to date, by storing or destroying it securely, by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.
